Being Too Vulnerable in Videos?

Feeling vulnerable? Does that make it time for a video? This has been a long-contested question – should you show your vulnerability in your videos? 🤔

👧 A client of mine asked me about this because she was feeling vulnerable and that left her feeling like she couldn’t show up authentically on video without sharing how she was feeling…but that felt scary, and she questioned if it was wise. 🧠

I know a lot of entrepreneurs, especially if they have a personal brand (coaches, consultants, services providers and course creators), wonder about where the line is on this. 💻

I’ll share what I told her and give you a few questions to ask yourself if you find yourself in this situation. 😔

In this recording of a Facebook live, I want to open up the conversation. We’ve all seen videos featuring vulnerability. We’ve all felt some level of vulnerability when doing video because we are exposing ourselves to potential judgements. 😒

So, is it worth it? Let’s talk about it. 🗣️
