Here’s What the Challenge Looks Like:
Day 1: Video Purpose
We start our challenge by getting SUPER clear on why we’re creating video and what the intention of your video will be. This clarity is the first step in being more confident!
Day 2: Script Challenge
Knowing what to say is the number one way to boost your video confidence. Using my universal, basic script formula, you’ll learn to write a concise & effective script that has all the essentials.
Day 3: Set the Scene
Looking good isn’t about great make-up or hairstyles! In this challenge, you’ll learn how to set up a great looking shot so that your videos look professional every time you hit record.
Day 4: Mindset Challenge
The number one thing that stops female entrepreneurs from doing videos is that nasty inner-critic. We’re going to combat that with mindset-shifting tactics, tools and a small dose of reality!
Day 5: Produce + Publish!
Woohoo! You now have everything you need to create and share a video with the group. We’ll employ a few shoot-day confidence-boosters to make sure you get your video shot and released!

Hi, I’m Valerie McTavish and I help female entrepreneurs go from video-resistant to totally video-confident. My strategies and tools enable them to expand their reach, build their personal brand, and increase their sales…even if they hate being on camera.
How do I do that? I use my decades of experience in video, advertising, and live television production as well as 10 years working as a content marketing strategist to unlock clarity and confidence.
My mission for 2021 is to help 1000 women get video-confident so they can take full advantage of video marketing and really show up for their businesses. I struggled with this myself. I spent so many years behind the camera, I didn’t realize how hard it would be to step out front. But, that was what my business needed, so I figured out how to do it with confidence. Now I share these secrets with other female entrepreneurs so that we can work together to bridge the confidence gap and build kick-ass businesses.
I’m passionate about the work I do and somedays, I can’t believe I get to make a living doing it. Sure, I’ve got lots of accolades – like multiple awards as a producer and script-writer but that’s not what my clients love about working with me. They love that I’m committed to their success and that I’m always ready with an example so that they fully understand the concepts behind intentional video marketing.
